After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Art, Beth Ann hoped to open up her own business - a business that would combine her love for drawing with her passion for sewing. After some thought and consideration an idea was born. What girl would not like to custom design her own handbags and greeting cards to reflect her style and match her personality?

It was not until 2004 that everything started to fall into place. That year with a little hard work, creativity, and imagination Designs By Beth Ann was created. Its goal was to design unique, stylish, custom made handbags and greeting cards that are not only functional but match each individual's personality; and that is exactly what it did. Today, with over 15 different handbag styles and over 30 different greeting card designs to choose from there is something for everyone.

Designs By Beth Ann offers a huge selection of fabrics, handles, and accessories to mix and match so that each customer can design a handbag that they absolutely love. Fabric is bought in limited quantities so the same purses are not seen over and over again. Each handbag is hand sewn by Beth Ann. She takes great pride in every bag she creates.
